How Oracle certifications are renewed

Renewal is the cost people forget, and it varies more between vendors than the exam fees do.

Oracle Java SE certifications are tied to one Java version, and Oracle publishes its recertification rules in its Certification Program Guidelines. Check them for the credential you hold rather than assuming it lasts for a fixed number of years.
